What is Raanmeva?
“रानमेवा” broadly refers to edible fruits and other naturally occurring foods gathered from forests and uncultivated landscapes. A botanical survey of Mulshi documented 108 wild edible fruit species and recorded their traditional use by local communities.

Karvand
A tart wild berry. The Mulshi survey records ripe fruits eaten raw and also used for juice, while unripe fruits are used in pickles.

A traditional seasonal fruit found in the region's wild and cultivated landscapes and enjoyed when ripe.
Bor
Wild jujube is included in the Mulshi survey and is traditionally eaten when ripe.
