Warasgaon Dam, also known as Veer Baji Pasalkar Dam, is a major reservoir in the Pune region. The dam is located in Velhe taluka and is built on the Mose River. Its large reservoir is surrounded by the hills and valleys of the Western Ghats.
The area becomes particularly scenic during the monsoon and post-monsoon months, when the surrounding hills turn green and seasonal streams and waterfalls appear across the landscape. The reservoir and nearby countryside make the area suitable for scenic drives, landscape photography and nature exploration.
Warasgaon is also part of the wider group of reservoirs associated with Pune’s water system, together with nearby Panshet and other dams. Visitors should follow local access restrictions and avoid entering restricted dam infrastructure areas
