Savlya Ghat View Point is an offbeat viewpoint in the Tamhini region, reached by a trail through forest, open grassy sections and rocky terrain. The viewpoint provides broad views towards the surrounding Sahyadri valleys, including landscapes associated with Plus Valley, the Devkund region and Kundalika Valley.
The viewpoint is especially impressive during the monsoon, when the landscape becomes intensely green and mist and clouds cover the surrounding mountains. It is also a promising destination for landscape photographers and visitors looking for less-commercialized viewpoints.
Because this is a trail-based viewpoint, conditions can change significantly during rain. The trail may become muddy and slippery, so visitors should use appropriate footwear and check local conditions before starting.
