Tamhini Ghat is one of the most scenic natural landscapes of the Mulshi region, forming a mountain corridor through the Western Ghats between Mulshi and Tamhini. The route is surrounded by dense greenery, valleys, seasonal waterfalls and mist-covered hills.
During the monsoon, the landscape changes dramatically as waterfalls appear across the hills and the forest becomes intensely green. When the clouds clear, visitors can see broad views across the surrounding Sahyadri valleys.
October to February provides a different experience, with cooler weather, greener post-monsoon landscapes and generally clearer mountain views. Tamhini is ideal for scenic drives, landscape photography and nature exploration.
