Koraigad Fort, also known as Korigad, is a historic hill fort in Mulshi taluka of Pune district. The fort rises above the surrounding Sahyadri landscape and is known for its substantial fortification walls, plateau, temples and water bodies.
The fort’s historical structures include the temple of Koraidevi along with smaller temples associated with Vishnu and Shiva. Its fortification wall remains an important feature of the site and provides visitors with panoramic views of the surrounding Western Ghats.
Koraigad forms an important part of the Mulshi heritage landscape together with Tailbaila, Ghangad and other historic forts. The fort is therefore a strong destination for visitors interested in Maharashtra’s fort heritage, architecture, history and mountain landscapes.
